Hi, I'm Clyde. My human calls me a cat’s cat – I like the sound of that (wonder what it means?). My human has asked me to say a few words. I will do my best but I’ve got so many other things to do. (Oh-oh I think someone’s coming in the door; I need to get outside. Oops, didn’t make it AGAIN.) Anyway, where was I – oh yeah, in addition to doing all of the things on this page and the next, I LOVE to sit on my human’s lap and purr while she pets and adores me. Oh, no, someone just came in the door and I missed getting out again. I think there must be a mouse or a spider around here somewhere. Need to go.

Note from Clyde's Human: As you see from Clyde's comments, he is very busy and has lots of things to do (no WORK, of course). Clyde is the epitome of male cat-hood and is curious, self-assured, playful and loving, to name only a few of his attributes - hence the term a "cat's cat".

Why Cats Don’t Work

• A cat has NO NEED to work. They have everyone else (including kids and those other unspeakable creatures) working for them.
• A cat knows they are the BOSS and does not take kindly to a human who thinks they are boss.
• A cat is NOT A TEAM PLAYER and will intentionally undermine group efforts just because they can.
• A cat generally wants NO CHANGES in their life style. They will use the same undermining tactics to ensure things remain as they prefer.
• A cat likes to MAKE WORK for their humans by making messes and being hard to please.
• A cat has MORE IMPORTANT THINGS to do.
